Courses are grouped into core hygiene, sector-specific, regulatory and management tracks, delivered on any device so a distributed workforce can be trained without taking teams off site.
The problem
Chemical handling is one of the most common day-to-day risks in food and facilities work, and one of the hardest to train consistently across shifts, sites, languages and staff turnover.
Intended users
Food production, hospitality, healthcare and manufacturing employers, and the health-and-safety managers responsible for their training records.
What SafeChem does.
Structured course library
Core hygiene, sector-specific, regulatory and management tracks covering safe chemical handling in working environments.
Completion certification
Certificates issued on course completion as a record of training undertaken.
QR certificate verification
Each certificate carries a number and QR code that resolves to a public verification page, so a third party can check it directly.
Expiry tracking and renewal
Certificate expiry is tracked with renewal reminders ahead of the date, and teams can be re-enrolled from the dashboard.
Multilingual delivery and AI assistance
Courses delivered in many languages, with an in-course AI tutor for contextual questions.
- Consistent content across every shift and site.
- Training records held centrally rather than in a folder on site.
- No travel or classroom scheduling overhead.
- Faster onboarding for new and seasonal staff.
- A verifiable record of who has completed which training.
- Practical handling guidance staff can apply immediately.
Training delivery built around evidence of completion
The platform is organised around the artefact employers actually need: a per-learner record of what was completed and when, produced by the same system that delivers the course.
- Course tracks mapped to working environments rather than to generic modules.
- Per-learner completion records and certificates.
- Multi-language delivery from a single course definition.
- Public certificate verification resolved from the certificate number or QR code.
Live training platform, licensed per use rather than by subscription. Course completion certificates evidence training undertaken on the platform; they are not a statutory accreditation and do not by themselves discharge an employer's legal duties. Alignment with EU and UK standards described on the SafeChem site is the platform's own claim and is not reproduced here as certification.
