01Overview

RetailRadio is a professional in-premises audio platform for commercial locations: curated music programming, scheduled in-store messaging and campaign audio managed from one console across a single site or a large estate.

It is operated by Prodia Systems Limited as a SaaS platform for managed in-premises audio experiences, with scheduling, multi-site control and licensing-aware audit logging as core parts of the product rather than add-ons.

The problem

In-store sound is usually improvised: a personal streaming account behind the counter, ad-hoc announcements and no consistency between locations. Head office has no view of what is actually playing where.

Intended users

Retail, hospitality and multi-site operators, from a single store to a regional estate.

02Capabilities

What RetailRadio does.

01

AI DJ links and brand voiceovers

AI-generated presenter links with selectable voice and personality, so a location sounds programmed rather than shuffled.

02

Promo and message injection

Branded promos, stings and announcements inserted at configurable intervals alongside the music schedule.

03

Multi-site estate control

One store or a wider estate managed from a single console, with per-location scheduling.

04

Day-part scheduling

Playlists and messages placed against the trading day, so the sound of the space changes with it.

05

Browser-based playback

Streams play in the browser at each location, with no proprietary hardware required to receive them.

06

Territory-aware delivery and logging

Region-aware stream routing with playout logging designed to support music-licensing obligations.

03Operational advantages
  • Consistent brand sound across every location.
  • Central scheduling instead of local improvisation.
  • Playout logging retained for licensing purposes.
  • No additional hardware required for delivery.
04User benefits
  • A store experience that matches the brand at every hour of the day.
  • Promotional messaging that actually runs when it was meant to.
  • One place to manage sound across a growing estate.
05Technology & differentiation

Scheduling, delivery and licensing in one system

RetailRadio combines programming, scheduling and playout delivery with licensing-aware logging, so what plays in a location and the record of it are produced by the same system.

  • Centralised scheduling with per-location overrides.
  • Playout delivery to managed locations without dedicated hardware.
  • Licensing-aware audit logging of what was played.
06Current stage

Operated by Prodia Systems Limited as a SaaS platform; engagement is via demonstration. Music-licensing responsibilities depend on the operator's own licences in each territory — RetailRadio's logging supports those obligations but does not itself clear rights. Performance figures shown on the RetailRadio site are illustrative product material, not audited customer results.
